Nice old hotel

We had a reasonable stay at the Plaza. This is certainly this best hotel that there is in the town. The food is cheap and the park across the way from the hotel offers some entertainment. Parking is okay, it can get busy around the park. The hotel structure is old and the rooms are small, as are the beds. The room was nonetheless clean. They do not waiver on the 3pm check in... don't expect to check in an hour or 2 earlier.

Historic Hotel Elegance from Days Past

The Historic Plaza hotel in Las Vegas, New Mexico (not Nevada) has been completely restored and improved. Because of the remodeling of an old building the rooms come in various shapes and sizes. Some have odd nooks and crannies. The staff is attentive and friendly. The bar and restaurant offer good food and libations. My only complaint is the bed in our room was a double bet, as opposed to a King or Queen bed. This was a bid cramped for two people. Our room had a bathroom that was huge and took up 1/3 of the suite. The hotel has conference and ballroom facilities.
